Barry J Whyte has been appointed to the position of Chief Feature Writer at The Sunday Business Post.

In his new role, he will continue to write and help to plan the high-quality long reads – features, interviews, and investigations – which are at the heart of what distinguishes The Sunday Business Post from its rivals.

Whyte joined The Sunday Business Post in 2013 as a business reporter. He spent the previous four years in New York, where he worked as the web editor for Institutional Investor magazine.

He has worked in the past for the Phoenix magazine and RTE.ie. He studied at DIT, UCD and Columbia Journalism School. He won the business interview of the year award in 2016 at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School business journalist awards.
