NewsBrands Ireland (formerly National Newspapers of Ireland (NNI)) is the representative body for all national newspapers, print and online.
Our remit is to promote the vital contribution made by our members’ trusted journalism to society and democracy, to convey the commercial power of news brand audiences to advertisers, and to work towards a fair and balanced legislative framework that brings Ireland into line with other EU countries.
At the NewsBrands Ireland table, our members are encouraged to put aside their individual competitive differences and to draw on the strength that comes by acting as a collective group. We use that strength to inform key target groups about the power of press.
We represent our member titles on matters that affect the industry and campaign on their behalf to affect change. In this regard, we encourage good relations with a variety of professional bodies and maintain affiliations, including active participation in the following:
