The International News Media Association (INMA) has announced the 2017 finalists in the Global Media Awards, rewarding innovation in audience, revenue, and brand development. Unveiled for the shortlist are 115 finalists in 20 categories and two groups for global/national brands and regional/local brands. The Irish Times is delighted to be a shortlist in two categories – Best Marketing Solution for its recent Vhi ‘Lets Talk Fertility’ campaign with PHD; and Best Execution of Native Advertising for recent ‘Audi Q7 The Best of Both Worlds’ campaign. Both Irish Times Content Studio led, these nominations, and the recent Digital Media Awards win for Best Native Content, further reinforce Content Studio as a leader in the commercial brand publishing space. With over 655 entries from 196 media companies in 36 countries, participants in the Global Media Awards included newspaper media, magazine media, digital media, television media, and radio media. Competition entries were judged in February by an international panel of 44 executives from 17 countries.
