In just three and a half months Extra.ie has reached half a million monthly unique users. It reached this milestone in May 2017 having launched in February of this year.

DMG Media, publisher of Extra.ie says that this success is based around creating great original content, being a very visual experience and being built purely for mobile. In fact 93% of the Extra.ie traffic is on mobile and this is very deliberate on the part of DMG Media.

The site is also proving very popular with advertisers with lots of display, native and video campaigns and a number of sponsorships under its belt. Campaigns have been performing really well with what is a highly engaged audience.

The audience is made up of 60% males and 40% females and the main age group visiting the site is 25-44’s. Sport is becoming a key offering for the site and it is proving to be extremely popular with
younger males.

DMG Media has big plans for the site and is constantly expanding it, with new sections launching all the time. Tech and Golf were both recently launched and there will be more expansion of the site over the coming months. So stay tuned….
