Throughout May 2019 and across all channels, the Irish Examiner will focus on Sustainability – from News and Business to Food, Fashion, Motors, Travel, Farming, Property, Interiors and more.

Sustainability has become an increasingly important topic, with companies and consumers focused on the certified management of environmental impacts, local and ethical sourcing and traceability.

On May 28th, the Irish Examiner will host an evening event “Green is an everyday colour” in The Glucksman, UCC, with a focus on how the green agenda and sustainability play a role in all areas of life.  The event will focus on all things green, from the garden to the importance of pollination to the environment and the farm to fork movement

Panellists will include Peter Dowdall, Irish Examiner Gardening columnist, Irish based horticultural consultant and garden designer,
Currabinny Chefs & Irish Examiner food columnists – James Kavanagh & William Murray, and Juanita Browne, All-Ireland Pollinator Plan Project Officer with the National Biodiversity centre.
