The Irish Examiner launches AGRI MONTH this September
The Ploughing Championships may not be happening in September 2020, but the Irish Examiner has created AGRI MONTH to help fill the gap – delivering a month of content to their valued Farming audience in print and online. The exciting schedule of editorial coverage will include a webinar, special supplement, themed weeks, wallchart and a dedicated AGRI MONTH section on their newly refreshed website.
Week 1 is Farm Safety Week. The Examiner have teamed up with AgriKids to bring their young audience a fun and interactive webinar teaching them all about safety on the farm, following Agrikids ethos to engage, educate and empower children to be farm safety ambassadors. This will be followed by a ‘Spot the Signs of Danger’ wallchart on September 10. Both of these are in conjunction with FBD & Flogas.
Farm to Fork is the focus in Week 2, across Farming & Weekend covering topics like organic farming, foraging, urban farming and seasonable vegetables, with our food ambassadors including Darina Allen, Joe McNamee and Michelle Darmody.
This year, the ICMSA celebrate their 70th anniversary and the Examiner are collaborating with them to produce a special supplement on September 17, covering their proud history and the generations of dedicated service by its members to Ireland’s pivotal dairy industry.
Other themes across the month will include Farm Finance and Farm Technology & modernisation.
All of this activity will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign across print, online, social, radio and our dedicated farming newsletter.
