Following the recent ABC data report, The Irish Times’ overall circulation increased by 2% year on year.

Speaking about the increase, Liam Kavanagh, CEO of The Irish Times said: “This is a positive example of the way our strategy is working across print and digital (e-paper sales).  A 24% increase in digital edition sales contributed to the success.  The strategy of introducing a digital subscription model in The Irish Times has positively impacted on our overall circulation figure.  All of this has been balanced against a need to protect print.

In addition, we are also pleased to report that, our overall subscription number now stands at 82,228, which includes 17,491 home delivery customers.”
