Over 100 guests attended the sold-out “How Wealthy Are You, Really?” wealth management event, hosted by The Sunday Times and Unio Wealth Management at the historic Euronext Dublin building in the City Centre.
The morning brought together financial and business experts from a range of industries to explore how Irish savers can move beyond simply putting money aside and start thinking more actively about building long-term wealth.
The event was hosted by The Sunday Times Business Editor Brian Carey, with a panel discussion featuring:
- Laura Duffy, Head of Segment at Unio
- Jon Ihle, Deputy Business Editor at The Sunday Times
- Donal Casey, former CEO of Rory McIlroy Inc.
The morning also featured a keynote address from Tánaiste and Minister for Finance Simon Harris, who shared his perspective on the wider economic landscape, both at home and internationally, and the importance of financial resilience.
The panel explored a range of topics around investing, wealth management and making informed financial decisions, with guests also having the opportunity to put their questions directly to the speakers during a lively Q&A.
The event also provided plenty of opportunity for guests to connect over breakfast and continue conversations during a post-panel networking session, with attendees also offered a complimentary 30-minute Wealth Check from Unio.
Brian Carey, Business Editor at The Sunday Times, said: “It was great to see such a strong turnout and to bring together such a diverse group of experts and guests for an engaging morning of discussion. Financial planning and investing can sometimes feel complicated or out of reach, so the event was a great opportunity to open up the conversation, share practical insights and encourage people to think more actively about their financial futures. We were delighted to partner with Unio and see so many people engage with the discussion.”
