NewsBrands Engage 2022 event returns on May 31st

The NewsBrands Ireland Engage event returns on May 31st and will take place from 9am to 11am in the Morrison Hotel, Dublin.

Featuring research and case studies on the power of advertising as well as discussion on journalism’s enduring value to society, the event will be of interest to media planners, advertisers, and media professionals. It will also be a welcome return to normality affording the attendees the chance to network and to catch up with old friends and colleagues in the industry.

The event will be hosted by award-winning journalist Kevin Doyle and will feature the following line-up:

An Post case study: Alice Grant, Marketing Lead, An Post Retail and Caroline Hughes, Board Director, Mediaworks, discuss the benefit of including news brands print and digital platforms in their comms planning in order to connect with the An Post audience and deliver impactful and effective communications strategies

Journalism Matters panel discussion: Award winning journalists Nicola Tallant ( Sunday World crime correspondent and winner of Podcast of the Year for Crime World), Jack Horgan Jones, ( former Business Journalist of the Year, best selling author, and Irish Times journalist), and Investigative Journalist of the Year Mostafa Darwish ( Reach Ireland) will join MC Kevin Doyle in conversation about news journalism’s enduring power to set the wider news agenda, to shine a light on important social issue such as climate, housing, and direct provision, and to affect real change in our world.
