Mirror Media has further invested in its commercial function with four job announcements

In an exciting development to her existing role, LesleyAnn Diffin becomes Business Communications Manager, to champion the profile of Mirror Media and knowledge of its growing portfolio of brands including Belfast Live, Dublin Live, Irishmirror.ie, RSVP, Daily Mirror and Irish Mirror. This role will also support the Commercial, Creative Solutions and Brand Partnerships teams and head up communications both externally and internally across the publishing spectrum.

LesleyAnn previously worked in Mirror Media’s Creative Solutions function and prior to this in Public Relations, so she brings strong experience in communications on the client, agency and media owner side.

Pamela McGookin has been appointed as Media Solutions Executive with the Northern Ireland team. Pamela has a wealth of cross-media experience having previously worked at Blazin Digital, Q Radio and the Belfast Telegraph. Pamela will be based in the Belfast office and will work alongside the Commercial team creating best-in-class client solutions across Mirror Media’s Northern Ireland brand portfolio.

Megan McCabe, who works within the Marketing Department, has recently been promoted to Marketing Executive and is responsible for all consumer marketing activity and sponsorships for Mirror Media’s NI newsbrands – Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and Belfast Live.

Then continuing its partnership with the University of Ulster, Mirror Media has offered Emer Nugent a placement as part of the University’s Professional Enterprise Partnership (PEP). This is a great opportunity for Emer, who recently graduated with Honours in Irish with Marketing, to gain experience in digital publishing, sales and marketing with one of Ireland’s leading media publishers.

Commenting on the appointments, Commercial Director at Mirror Media Jonathan Eakin said: “We are delighted to expand our commercial team with brilliant talent.

“In an increasingly competitive marketplace, it’s important we continue to raise the profile of our newsbrands and showcase our best-in-class media solutions.
