Mediahuis, the largest publisher in the Irish market, has won two awards at the INMA Global Media Awards for its proprietary Programmatic Plus offering; first place in the ‘Best use of Data to Drive Advertising’ ‘category and second place in the ‘Best Idea to Grow Advertising Sales’ category.

Launched in 2020, Programmatic Plus is an innovative propriety product that has changed the way programmatic advertising is delivered in the Irish market. It has exceeded market expectations with its robust targeting, unparalleled transparency, and actionable post campaign analysis (PCA).

Mediahuis’s Head of Digital Innovation and Strategy, Brian Sheehan commented ‘Programmatic Plus is a major advancement for brands who want to demonstrate effectiveness and measurable success of their programmatic investment, to have that uniqueness and innovation recognised on a global stage at the INMA Awards is a very proud moment for the team’.

Measuring programmatic return on investment and the effective delivery of campaign goals has not always been easy for advertisers. Programmatic Plus offers unique targeting opportunities, the highest viewability in the market at over 80%, collaborative partnerships with Mediahuis’s best-in-class insights, creative and ad ops teams, in addition to unrivalled post-campaign reports offering transparency and campaign insight.

It has been a big year for Mediahuis who have recently rebranded from INM and launched their new ‘Moving Ideas Forward’ positioning. Karen Preston, Group Advertising Director commented ‘We have invested significant time and resources over the past 12 months to ensure all our advertising solutions are built on a platform of partnership and innovation that orientates around our clients needs, I’m delighted to see those efforts being affirmed with our recent double success at the INMA Global Media Awards’

The development of Programmatic Plus and continued digital product innovation will allow Mediahuis to compete with Big Tech such as Facebook and LinkedIn for data-driven campaigns, giving them a major advantage over other Irish publishers and creating new advertising opportunities and revenue streams.
