News Delivery and An Post have joined forces to deliver a service which helps readers of the print edition of The Irish Times, Irish Daily Mail, Irish Examiner, The Echo and a selection of other regional titles throughout the State to  keep up to date with the news. This service is particularly important for those who are cocooned in their homes because of the Covid-19 restrictions.

News Delivery service is owned and operated by The Irish Times. “This partnership with An Post came about because of the challenges of the pandemic, and we are very pleased to now offer every person in the country access to their preferred newspaper when they want it, delivered safely to their home,” said Liam Kavanagh, managing director of The Irish Times. “It’s a great demonstration of how business can respond in the face of adversity.”

In the coming weeks, the new service is expected to grow quickly to reach more than 2,000 households.

This is just one of a number of new initiatives The Irish Times have put into place in the last few weeks. This includes new opportunities for advertisers across audio, virtual events, the launch of a yoga hub, giving readers an opportunity to connect with loved ones via The Irish Times Personal Column  and the successful Open for Business initiative which has been created to amplify and support businesses in Ireland who have had to diversify their offering during Covid- 19.
