The Business Post has announced a series of significant leadership changes as part of its ongoing strategy to drive future growth and enhance its market position.

The appointments span both the media & content and experiences pillars, reflecting the company’s commitment to strengthening its revenue streams and deepening client engagement.

Dara Taaffe has been appointed as the new Director of Revenue – Client Solutions and Advertising. Taaffe will lead the advertising, partnership, and client solutions team within the media & content pillar.

Taaffe, who brings extensive industry experience and a strong track record in revenue growth, will collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team to further develop partnerships and drive commercial success.

As part of a broader strategic restructure, the Business Post has also realigned its Experiences pillar to integrate more closely with the flagship brand.

This change is designed to better align strategic priorities with the evolving needs of audiences and partners.

The restructure has led to the creation and repositioning of several roles within the Experiences division to enhance focus, agility, and cross-functional collaboration.

Shay Cloherty has been promoted to Director of Revenue – Experiences & Reader Revenues.

In this expanded role, he will oversee the commercial growth of the Experiences division while also taking a broader responsibility for reader revenues across the business, working in this vein alongside Head of Subscriptions and Circulation, Emma Horgan.

Irish Tatler editor Jessie Collins has been appointed as Portfolio & Brand Content Director, responsible for developing experiential event calendars and integrating partnership content solutions.

Emma Sutton is stepping into the role of Creative Director – Experiences, where she will shape the creative vision for the company’s diverse event brands while maintaining connectivity with the flagship content brand.

They will be working alongside Laura Dunlop, Head of Strategy & Growth, Portfolio Director Grace Aungier and Hilary Hughes, Experiences Operations Director.

Megan Cassidy, as Director of Strategic Initiatives & Leadership Engagement, is positioned across both pillars, in addition to her role leading the Global Economic Summit (GES), which will take place in Killarney in May.

Commenting on the appointments, Business Post chief executive officer Sarah Murphy said: “These leadership changes mark an exciting new chapter for the Business Post, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, collaboration, and long-term strategic growth. The company extends its congratulations to all those stepping into new roles and looks forward to their contributions in shaping the future of the organisation.”
