Irish Farmers Journal HSA Quad Bike campaign

A new Quad Bike Campaign from the Health & Safety Authority is currently running in the Irish Farmers Journal across their print and digital platforms to coincide with the annual Farm Safety Week.

Farm Safety Week runs annually and this year’s event was launched by Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture with responsibility for Farm Safety, Martin Heydon. The objective of this is to make safety a priority on farms and to prioritise actions that will prevent accidents and create safer working environments. Due to the signification number of fatalities using Quad bikes new regulations came into effect in 2023, which included all users to undertake training and wear helmets.

The campaign has a prominent position in the Irish Farmers Journal for Farm Safety week with digital creatives running across www.farmersjournal.ie and mobile app creating impact on this important topic. Creatives are running in both English and As Gaelige and include messages around speeding and the requirement to wear helmets. In addition, a full page editorial is also running in Irish Country Living, targeting children to warn them of the dangers and educate them on the farm safety message.

The campaign was booked by media agency Spark Foundry.
