The Extra.ie FAI Cup is back and DMG Media are delighted to strengthen their sports team with the addition of Noel King.

The Former Ireland boss Noel King will be a familiar face to both players on the pitch and off it.

Noel has joined up with Extra.ie’s sports team to offer in-depth analysis and opinion on the Irish football team, their new beginnings with Stephen Kenny and the Extra.ie FAI Cup.

Noel is a hugely respected figure in Irish football, having served as Ireland U21s manager for eight years, Player Identification Manager in the FAI and is a well-known TV and radio contributor with a deep knowledge of the game from grassroots.

The Dubliner took charge of the Ireland senior team as interim boss in 2013. Noel has also managed the international women’s team and held several managerial roles in the League of Ireland over his near five-decade association with Irish football.

He has intimate knowledge of both the latest Ireland squad, having worked with practically all members in recent years, and the domestic league; delivering both league and cup success as a player and a manager.
