The Irish Times and Irish Examiner have collaborated in the first of many exciting content partnerships. Pride 2020 is a special supplement to celebrate June as Global Pride month. Published in print and online on Friday, June 26, the jointly produced Pride 2020 publication looks at the progress made in public and private sector business and in society in embracing diversity and inclusion in the five years since the Marriage Equality Referendum and other key changes in legislation.

While Covid-19 has obliged Ireland’s LGBTQ+ communities to either cancel or postpone their annual parades until later this year, Pride 2020 looks at a selection of the online and ‘drive-in’ activities which have replaced the outdoor festivities in this uniquely challenging year. The publication features a wealth of short interviews from all across Irish society highlighting areas of social progress and assessing issues where further progress can still be made: A lot done, more to do.
