Over 100 racing fans and seasoned punters gathered at The Camden in Dublin for an exclusive evening of insight and expert analysis at The Irish Sun’s Live Cheltenham 2026 Preview event, sponsored by Novibet.

The lively event brought together a passionate crowd of National Hunt enthusiasts excited to hear expert opinions, tips and predictions ahead of one of the biggest weeks in the racing calendar – the Cheltenham Festival.

Hosted by racing presenter Kevin O’Ryan, the panel featured a stellar line-up of racing experts including jockey Aidan Coleman, pundit Martin Dixon, professional punter Johnny Dineen, jockey Darragh O’Keeffe and racing influencer Stephen Power.

Throughout the evening, the panel shared their insights on the key races, discussed likely contenders and offered their best bets for the festival, while also answering questions from the engaged audience.

Fans attending the Dublin preview night were treated to in-depth analysis of the festival’s major races, including discussion of the Champion Hurdle and the Cheltenham Gold Cup, as well as insights into how trainers were finalising their plans in the days leading up to the meeting.

The Cheltenham Festival, which takes place annually in March at Cheltenham Racecourse, is one of the most prestigious meetings in the National Hunt racing calendar and attracts huge interest from Irish racing fans.

Editor of The Irish Sun, Fiona Wynne, praised the strong turnout and engagement from attendees: “We were delighted to host this event, which proved to be a fantastic night with a brilliant crowd of racing fans. Cheltenham is one of the highlights of the racing calendar and it was great to bring together such a knowledgeable panel to share their expert insights and help get punters ready for the festival.
