Covid-19 public awareness campaign uses full page ads to communicate vital messages

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, the Department of An Taoiseach has been regularly communicating vital public information regarding Covid-19 via full page ads in national and local newspapers. These have been complimented and reinforced by digital advertising in newsbrands websites.

The full page advertisements have been running weekly in all local and national newspapers taking full advantage of the unique power of print communicating complex and vitally important public health information to the public during this time.

TGI data shows that newsbrands reach almost 70% of all adults and that newspaper ads generate some of the highest levels of attention of any medium*.
